At Classica Education, our Spanish & Classical Culture Program offers a meaningful and immersive learning experience, where students develop confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing while exploring the richness of the Spanish-speaking world.
Rooted in the principles of Classical Education, the Liberal Arts, and inspired by the educational philosophy of Charlotte Mason, our program integrates language learning with literature, history, art, traditions, and culture. We believe that language is not simply a subject to master, but a bridge to understanding people, ideas, and civilizations.
Students learn with native Spanish-speaking teachers in small, interactive groups that encourage authentic communication, personalized attention, and steady progress. Through meaningful projects and engaging activities, each lesson becomes an opportunity to grow not only in language proficiency, but also in curiosity, cultural appreciation, and intellectual formation.

Academic Calendar
Our Annual Program begins each year in February and continues through December.
Students who wish to join us during the second half of the academic year may enroll in our Mid-Year Entry Program, which begins in August. This pathway allows new students to integrate smoothly into our academic community and continue their learning journey in the following Annual Program.

Meet Our Teachers
Prof. Anabella Lohrengel
Scientific and Literary Translator | English Teacher
Prof. Anabella Lohrengel is a Certified Scientific and Literary Translator and English Teacher with over 20 years of experience in bilingual schools at both the elementary and secondary levels. Throughout her career, she has taught English Language, Literature, and Cambridge International Examination preparation, including PET, FCE, and BEC.
She has also worked extensively with adult learners, offering general English courses, intensive language programs, and preparation for international examinations. Her educational approach is grounded in inclusion and the recognition of multiple intelligences, fostering a collaborative, respectful, and student-centered learning environment.
Throughout her career, she has participated in a variety of interdisciplinary educational projects, teaching in both in-person and online settings.
Prof. Inés González Calvo
Spanish Language and Literature | Editor | Proofreader
Prof. Inés González Calvo holds a University Degree in Spanish Language and Literature from the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina (UCA) and is currently completing her Bachelor's Degree in Hispanic Literature at the same institution.
She is an experienced writer, editor, and proofreader, as well as the co-founder of GC Linguistic Services, where she has provided professional editing, proofreading, and translation services for a variety of publishing houses.
With teaching experience at the elementary, secondary, and university levels, Prof. González Calvo is passionate about fostering a deep appreciation for language and literature. Since 2022, she has been teaching courses and workshops for children, teenagers, and adults at Classica Education, combining academic rigor with a warm, student-centered approach inspired by the principles of Classical Education.
Prof. Celina Ithurralde
Spanish Teacher
Celina Ithurralde is a native Spanish-speaking teacher from Argentina with over four years of experience teaching Spanish to children through a natural language acquisition approach. She is a certified Montessori Guide for children ages 6 to 12 and has been living in the United States for the past five years.
Inspired by the educational philosophies of Charlotte Mason and Maria Montessori, Celina creates rich and meaningful language-learning experiences through stories, conversation, nature, games, and living books. Her goal is to help children acquire Spanish naturally while fostering curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.
